To use the Soft Enema Bock, first connect the hose to the bock, then screw the nozzle onto the hose. Make sure the faucet is in the closed position. Fill the bock with warm water and hang it up high. Turn on the faucet and let the water flow to remove any air from the hose, then close the faucet. Lubricate the nozzle with vegetable oil, petroleum jelly, or lubricating gel. Lie in your bathtub on your side or back with your knees raised toward your chest. Insert the lubricated probe into your anus and turn on the faucet. The water will enter the rectum and soften and loosen the fecal matter from the intestinal walls. Let the water flow into the colon as much as is bearable, then turn off the faucet.
